So I can get on with posting my sick architectural/getaway property find of the week.
I am not a fan of mobile homes/trail-alongs. But what's been done to this, how it looks, and what's been built around it? Pure and utter fap material for the nesting instinct portion of my brain.
I'd happily take this as a secluded weekend chill spot after a week of doing whatever it is that one would need to do to afford and appreciate this sort of space as a second home.
Located somewhere in Texas.

whoah. That is so awesome. The way that old stainless trailer is in there it almost looks like a train station. The combination of the light, warm colored woods, glass, concrete, and steel work beautifully together. The round windows are a nice way to balance out the straight edges and create interesting focal points. The minimalist approach to decorating creates an open and calming space (the large windows really help this). The industrial look to many of the fixtures is also a great touch. To sum up this house is perfect... but it lacks an equally amazing garage that matches this architecture.

I was actually considering mobile homes as my first step toward real property ownership for about 5 seconds. 'Til I heard about lot rent.
Pretty much every mobile or manufactured property down here in americas wang is sitting on a planned community. Most of them will let you buy the home, but charge you for renting the land, and that charge will be exactly the same or more as renting an apartment.
tl;dr -> the lot manager gets all the benefits associated with renting property while the responsibilities and costs associated with ownership are yours. PASS.
